Section 1
These terms apply when you use Nir as a client to discover salons and technicians, design your look, and book appointments. Nir is operated by Peter Kouassi, a sole proprietor doing business as Nir.
Section 2
Nir connects you with independent salons and nail technicians and provides AI-assisted design and booking tools. The professionals you book are independent — they are not employees of Nir, and Nir does not perform nail services or control how a professional performs them.
Section 3
When you book, you may be asked for an optional deposit, which Nir collects through its payment provider and applies to your service or handles per the salon's deposit policy. The remaining price of your service is set and collected by the salon or technician directly. Nir is not a party to the service agreement between you and the professional and does not guarantee outcomes.
Section 4
AI-generated designs are visual references to help you communicate with your technician — not guarantees of a specific result. Actual results depend on your nails, the products used, and the technician's professional judgment.
Section 5
Some features use photos of your nails and hands. Where biometric identifiers are involved, they are handled under our Biometric Policy and applicable law, with your consent, and you can withdraw consent.
Section 6
Use Nir lawfully and respectfully. Do not misuse the platform, submit false information, or infringe others' rights.
Section 7
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Nir is not liable for the acts, services, or outcomes of independent salons or technicians, or for your reliance on AI-generated design or nail-health observations. Nail-health observations are informational only and are not medical advice.
Section 8
You agree to indemnify Nir for claims arising from your misuse of the platform or your dealings with professionals booked through it, to the extent permitted by law.
Section 9
Disputes about a service are between you and the salon or technician. Disputes with Nir about the platform are governed by the Terms of Service (Illinois law, Cook County).
Section 10
We may update these terms as the product evolves. Material changes will be posted here with an updated effective date.
